Important physical characteristics: Rosalie is described as "statuesque, model-like, with wavy hair to the middle of her back." She is 5'9", incredibly pale, has blond hair and, like all the Cullens, amber eyes. One of her most defining chracteristics is that she's incredibly beautiful.

Rosalie was born in 1915 to a middle-class family. By the time she was 18, she was on the verge of getting everything she'd ever wanted-- a wealthy husband, a beautiful house, and perhaps one day a child of her own.

...But her story didn't have a happy ending.

A week before the fairytale wedding she was expecting, Rosalie encountered her drunken fiance, Royce King II, in the streets with his friends. The group of men raped and beat her and left her for dead.

But a kind doctor found her there, and changed her forever...



Becoming a vampire was not Rosalie would have chosen. She would give almost anything to be human again. Even so, she knows she is blessed in this second life that was given to her. She has a wonderful family, and the perfect husband. And she refuses to give in the monstrous side of her nature. She has never tasted human blood.
